The intricate underground pipeline delivery system is referred to as the distribution system. Once the water enters the distribution system, it is delivered within the 10-square-mile service area utilizing sections of the installed pipelines. Valley County Water District maintains nearly 120 miles of water main transmission pipelines, ranging in size from as small as 2 inches to as large as 24 inches depending on the comprehensive water service delivery needs of the developed area.
