Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

We welcome public feedback and comments!

The Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) is a requirement of the Federal Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and must be updated every five years in order to maintain eligibility for certain federal disaster assistance and hazard mitigation funding programs. As part of the planning process, gathering input from our community is an important and required step. To review the draft plan, click here.
