Overview

Valley County Water District is an independent special district governed by a five-member Board of Directors elected at-large by the constituents residing in the service area to serve a four-year term. The members of the Board of Directors are responsible for promoting and maintaining proper and efficient management by establishing policies, rules, and regulations that best serve the needs of Valley County Water District and the community it represents.

Election

Valley County Water District adopted Resolution 01-17-780 consolidating the election of the members of its Board of Directors with the statewide general election. The terms of the Board of Directors eligible for election in the next odd number year when the resolution was approved were extended by one year in accordance with Election Code Section 10404(i).
