Multi-Family Residential Bi-Monthly Billing Rates

Multi-Family Residential is a new billing classification established by Resolution 11-17-793 to categorize multiple dwelling units serviced by a single meter. These water services are identified by accounts beginning with the first three digits of 101-109, 201-207, 301-308, or 401-407. All residential water services are billed by Valley County Water District on a bimonthly schedule. Below is an outline of the water service rates included on a Multi-Family Residential billing statement:

Fixed Service Charge

Fixed amount billed on a bimonthly basis, or any portion of a bi-month, to all Multi-Family Residential customers for maintaining an active water service account with the District, whether or not any water is used in the billing cycle, and to help fund the necessary and required cost related to maintaining the ability to serve each connection.
