Annual Water Awareness Celebration

In the water industry, the month of May is "Water Awareness Month." The District hosts an annual Water Awareness Celebration event in the month of May to promote water conservation and water use efficiency. In addition to the water conservation literature and promotional material, a display of drought tolerant plants and landscaping material is set-up. The event also includes tours of District on-site facilities and games for children in attendance. Click Here for current event information.

Landscape Workshops

The District partners with the San Gabriel Mountains and Rivers Conservancy, located in the Santa Fe Dam, to host seasonal landscaping workshops. Focusing on California native plants, these workshops provide tips on planting and maintaining landscapes that are also drought tolerant.
